Alas, we've looked at pricing for tickets and we just can't swing it. I'm sorry, dear heart - we're thinking of you.

We'll be on holiday with the kids but we'll try and raise a glass to her at 2.15. Hope all goes well.

Leave from work is not an option until I get my new leave allowance in September, so I can't be there.

We'll be thinking of you.

I'd like to come, if you'd have me.

Not that far a trip across the Bridge for me.

I wish that I could be there, but I can't travel that far and make it to work next day. Will be with you in spirit and thinking of you.

I'm really sorry, but I can't afford another UK flight this month. I'll be with you in spirit.

Thank you for letting us know. I'm really sorry that I cannot be there to support you in person (I will be caring for my mother in Dorset). I will be thinking of you all, and of appropriate ways to honour Gytha's life.

Being on the far left coast of the US, means we cannot attend.

But our thoughts are with you.

All my thoughts are with you. If there is anything I can do don't hesitate to ask.
I'll be at the funeral, and I'll give Sue a lift as well.

:chosen charity is Cancer Research

Is this the right one?
And is there a personal page already created in memory of Gytha under another name?

Stuart and I can't make it to the service, but would like to contribute in her name.

I will be travelling up from City Airport on Wednesday morning and arriving in Edinburgh at 11:25.

I have a hire car booked, so if there are others in the area who need a lift, please contact me directly.

Hi Richard

Commitments don't unfortunately permit us to be with you on Wednesday, but we will raise a glass to Gytha and make a donation on the memorial page

I will be driving from Dundee (about 12:15) via St Andrews (about 13:00) on Wednesday if anyone needs a lift. I am collecting meepfrog so she has the front seat but I can take another 1 or 2.

I also have a spare room with camp-bed & a sofa if anyone needs crash space in St Andrews before or after.

I'd only just found out you were ill and now you've gone already - the sad loss of a special friend.

I'm so, so sorry.

I'll not be able to make it to the funeral, but my thoughts are with you both, now, on Wednesday, and in the future.
